The stunning Matt Gunther holds his own against the Rockland brothers (in this case Hal and Vince) in this award winning Falcon feature from the mid 90s. Gunther plays a mysterious host who invites the requisite Falcon studs to spend a sex-soaked weekend at his quaint Victorian Inn in the middle of a libidinous nowhere. Director Rutherford was coming into his own here, seamlessly assembling the best players and putting them together in chemically explosive duos and groups, all to the tune of Falcon’s considerable bankroll which makes for flawless technical work and art direction. The “acting” runs to the silly side of the porn spectrum, but the fleeting dialogues sequences don’t detract from the overall smokin’ quality of this release, which is a must-see for fans of the Rocklands and the late Gunther, who never looked better than he did here. - www.bijouworld.com
